The environment of Rara Factory is tailor-made for the contemporary man, but we feel the presence of matter experienced by the peasants. We have chosen a restructuring that somehow adheres to the thinking of the Arte Povera movement. An artistic movement of the late 1960s that was born in contrast with traditional art, of which it rejects artificial techniques and supports, to turn to the recovery of nature as an everyday experience, to the revaluation of common objects, also making use of the form of the installation as a place of the relationship between work and environment.

From those experiences we have extracted poor materials such as soil, concrete, wood, iron, stones, fabric, industrial waste and recycled materials, with the aim of recalling the original structures of the language of rural society. The presence in the structure of the house of experienced fragments and elements recalls the nostalgia of an ancient and symbolic-mythological world.
